Silent aim adjusts shot angle server-side while your screen crosshair stays put. Good for AR taps at range if tuned low.
Obvious silent at close range looks like magic bullets in replay. Turn it off inside 15m or use softaim instead.
Ping matters. High ping + silent aim = shots that feel wrong to you and right to spectators.
Not every loader labels it clearly — sometimes it's 'aim type: memory' in the menu. Read the tooltip before enabling in pubs.
